Message or less than all those other cars u picked out
I figure a 2+2 (doesnt matter the condition) will run u at no more 6000 dollars and to do the conversion will run u bout 5000-8000 dollars wich totals to about 11000-14000 dollars which is still less than a VR4, Supra, Mustang (well, maybe not a mustang cause there worth about as much as cabbage on sale), RX7, etc....
And if u think about. If u get a rebuilt TT engine then its like having a new one and no problems for many years to come.
Ull also have lots of money left over (assuming u were gonna buy one of the cars i mentiond above) to juice up ur engine with mods and/or do some cosmetical work done to it. In any case..... good luck with ur decision.
